Jharkhand Rai University (JRU) is the only private University in the state of Jharkhand approved by NAAC. It has been established under “Jharkhand Rai University Act, 2011” by
Jharkhand State Legislature as per section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 which aims to create a knowledge pool for the State of Jharkhand by serving the needs of diverse communities. The University offers Diplomas, Undergraduate Degrees, Postgraduate Degrees and Doctoral programs in different disciplines.
The main aim of JRU is to integrate research & development with academics and encourage our faculty and students to carry on research in their respective areas of interest. The University is focused on interdisciplinary, collaborative and community based research which will help to generate excellent technologies responding to the needs of local, national and global interests.

Jharkhand Rai University (JRU) Admission Process
To apply for admission with Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi , candidates should contact the admission offices or the JRU Campus in Ranchi. Candidates should fulfill all the eligibility criteria as prescribed for the course before filling up the application form.
Candidates need to buy the admission form, from admission offices of Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi (listed below) or the JRU Campus in Ranchi at a fee of Rs. 500/-. They can also download the form from the JRU official website
The duly filled in application form in black/blue ink in Capital Letters without overwriting along with the Demand Draft of Rs. 550/- drawn in favor of ‘Jharkhand Rai University’ payable at Ranchi should be sent to the admission office.
Note: Photocopy and Original both are required at the time of Admission. Photocopy of all required certificate should be duly self attested. The application fee is a variable and may change. For latest update see university website.
