The All Indian Society for Electronics and Computer Technology (AISECT), was established with a novel concept 31 years back to spread computer literacy and technology training in rural mass in their mother tongue. The AISECT University of Jharkhand was established under State Universities Act on 16th May, 2016.

AISECT University of Jharkhand Admission Process

Admission to various courses are governed by respective ordinances and prospectus of the year. Candidates must fulfill fulfill eligibility conditions laid down by the ordinance for admission to any course.

For all the courses offered by the university admission notice will appear in the daily national News Papers/University website/Notice Board or any other publicity media.

Admission To Engineering Courses
Admission to BE courses in all five braches (CE, ME, EC, CS, EE) will be done either by university all India entrance test or by entrance procedure laid down by DTE. For PG admission Gate qualified will be given preference.

Admission To B.ED Courses
Admission will be based on the University Entrance Test, schedule for which will be notified in the news paper/university website. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Test. All the seats will be filled in order of merit.

Admission to PhD Courses
Admission will be based on the Entrance Test followed by PI. Admission and conduct of the course will be based on Ordinance no 16 and Ph D Information Brochure available at University Admission Cell.

Admission to all other courses except BE, B.ED & PhD
For all the courses other than BE, B Ed and Ph D admission will be based on the merit list made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the minimum eligibility qualifying examination laid down by respective ordinances.
